World Apostolate of Fatima, First Saturday Devotions
Every first Saturday of each month, at 3:15 p.m. unless otherwise informed, we hold our First Saturday Devotions in the church in front of Mary's statue. Confessions are heard from 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. each and every Saturday.
What Do We Do?
We strive to fulfill Our Lady of Fatima's requests by every First Saturday praying five decades of the Rosary, meditate on thier mysteries, and praying various Marian Prayers. Our Lady also requested that for five consecutive First Saturdays we also go to Confession and receive Holy Communion.
Why Do We Do It?
In the spirit of reparation, we do it for the love of Jesus, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our goal is to spread and increase this apostolate. We do it for Jesus through Mary.
How Do We Do It?
To Accomplish this ministry, nothingmuch more is needed than a love and devotion to Mary, the Mother of God, a Roszary, and time spent in prayer before her each First Saturday. No special talents or skills are required, only participation. We also have various pamphlets in the church concerning Mary and the First Saturday devotions. You may help yourself to them.
Mary is always there for us as we are there for her. She loves us and we strive to give her that love which she is most deserving of. Her Immachulate Heart will triumph.
