Maritime andRiverineLeaguewas foundedApril 27, 1924year oftransformation ofPolishMaritimeLeague, from October1930 toJuly 1946operating under the nameMaritime andColonialLeague(LMK), thenMarineDivision, fromApril 1950It includedtheliquidatedthe Polish Association ofthe West.10May 1953MaritimeLeagueeliminatedby the inclusion ofthe League ofFriends of theSoldier.Leaguewas reactivatedin December 1980, and sinceMarch 1999,it operatesas aDivisionMaritime andRiverine[1].
In 1934 hebought apart ofthe Brazilian state ofParanáand set uphousingfor Polishcolonists-MarineWill.Signed an agreementwith Liberiaoneconomic and cultural cooperation.Inthe 30sTwentieth centuryledfundraiserforthe MaritimeDefence Fundwhich resulted insuchwas to build asubmarine "Eagle".Published monthly"Sea"andquarterly "IssuesandColonialMarine."In 1939there werenearly 1million members.Maritime andColonialLeagueceasedoperations in1939.It wasrevivedin 1944under the nameMarineDivisionand thenclosedin 1953and thenjoined tothe League ofFriends of theSoldier(transformed intothe National DefenceLeague).Was againrevivedin 1981as theMarineLeague.March 19, 1999MarineDivisionwas transformed intothe League ofMaritimeand River.The currentpresident(since 2007)is thecaptain.?.w.AndrewKrolikowski, Director ofthe Maritime Office inGdynia, whichwas replacedin that positionBronislaw Komorowski.
